MultiTastic je inovativni višekanalni odašiljač koji uvodi koncept “Cast-sharing”.
U današnjem emitiranom ekosustavu i scenariju, glavne emitere, mrežni operatori ili čak općine rade ne samo jedan nego i nekoliko DTV kanala. No, kada je riječ o ulaganju u mrežnu infrastrukturu (CAPEX) ili buduće operacije takve mreže (OPEX), račun može postati vrlo skup, a investicija je gotovo nemoguće prevladati kada je potrebna visoka penetracija DTV-a.
U jednom 4U 19 “racku, MultiTastic kombinira do 7 + 1 (ili 6 + 2) modula odašiljača (DVB-T / H / T2, ISDB-Tb, ATSC, DAB / DAB + / T-DMB) Opremljen različitim ulaznim sučeljima (satelitski prijemnik, ASI, ETI, EDI, Gigabit Ethernet ili RF).
Implementiran je pametan sustav unutarnje matrice, tako da rezervni modul odašiljača automatski preuzima vodstvo u slučaju da jedan ne uspije, osiguravajući potpunu redundantnu upravljivost sustavu. Sustav RF pojačanja može biti nezavisan po svakom odašiljaču ili također zajednički, s redundantnim konačnim pojačalom (Multitastic C2) u slučaju susjednih kanala. Ugrađeni satelitski višestruki prekidač, dvostruki redundantni prijamnici brzine s promjenjivim GPS / GLONASS i napajanje osiguravaju rad sustava u svakoj situaciji.
Umjesto ulaganja u više zasebnih jedinica odašiljača, kao i složenih i skupih sustava upravljanja zalihostima, emiteri ili mrežni operatori sada mogu jednostavno ulagati u jedan 4U 19 “rack MultiTastic odašiljač i raditi do 7 kanala u jednoj kompaktnoj kutiji .
